Communication & Leadership Award

The District 58 Communication & Leadership Award is presented to a non-Toastmaster who has demonstrated outstanding communication and leadership skills in the District 58 community as defined by over 120 Toastmaster Clubs in South Carolina.

Qualifications

The Communication and Leadership award will be presented to a non-Toastmaster who exemplifies outstanding communication and leadership skills. This person can be a media personality, a state or local politician, a business person, or any individual who is an accomplished communicator and leader in the community. Nominations must include the person’s name, title and/or occupation, and adequate documentation supporting the nomination. Nominations should present the nominee’s credentials in enough detail to demonstrate the breadth and depth of the nominee’s communication and leadership skills and style.

Entries

Any Toastmaster may nominate a recipient. If you wish to nominate more than one person, please submit separate entries for each individual. The Nomination Form, along with any supplemental information should be sent to the District 58 Governor d58governor@toastmasters-d58.org. Follow the instructions in the Nomination Form.

Selection:

Selection of the recipient for the Communication and Leadership award is made by District Staff. Selection is contingent upon the recipient’s confirmed attendance for the award presentation.

Presentation:

The Communication and Leadership award will be presented at the District 58 Spring Conference at the Saturday evening banquet.
