District 58 Recognition & Awards
Educational Achievements
CC: Your club should present you with a Competent Communicator (CC) badge. You will also receive a note from District Governor.
CL/AL: New Competent Leader (CL) or Advanced Leader (AL) awards receive a gavel attachment along with note from District Governor.
ACB: New Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) awards receive a bronze chevron attachment courtesy of the District along with a note from the District Governor.
ACS: New Advanced Communicator Sliver (ACS) receive a silver chevron badge attachment along with note from District Governor.
ACG’s: New Advanced Communicator Gold (ACG) awards receive a gold chevron badge attachment along with note from District Governor.
DTM’s: New Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) awards receive their DTM badge courtesy of the District at the Saturday dinner of Fall and Spring Conference during a special ceremony.
Year-End Awards
Governor’s Awards of Merit:
Bestowed at the discretion of the District Governor, up to two Toastmasters from the District may receive this award for outstanding service to the District Governor and exceptional dedication to District 58.
Christy Jarvis Award:
Given annually to the non-Toastmaster who has promoted the aims of District 58 the most.
Area Governor of the Year:
Given annually to the Area Governor who has improved his Area by extending the network of clubs and increasing the level of performance of the clubs in his area in educational achievement and membership development.
Division Governor of the Year:
Given annually to the Division Governor who has advanced his Division by extending the network of clubs and increasing the level of performance of the areas in his division in educational achievement and membership development.
Toastmaster of the Year:
Given annually to the Toastmaster in District 58 who has most lived up to the ideals of Toastmasters while helping his fellow Toastmasters achieve in the critical success factors.
Curtis C. Yant Mentoring Award:
Given annually to the Toastmaster in District 58 who has served the District by mentoring the most fellow Toastmasters.
