- Provides guidance so the current officers have a support resource
VICE PRESIDENT EDUCATION
- Plans meetings
- Ensures members meet their education goals and turn in their paperwork on time
- Second ranking officer
VICE PRESIDENT MEMBERSHIP
- Promotes membership within and outside the club
- Follows up on guests and on members not attending meetings
- Third ranking officer
VICE PRESIDENT PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Creates and distributes club newsletter
- Promotes Club within the community and district (newspaper and web information)
- Fourth ranking officer
SECRETARY
- Keeps and publishes meeting minutes
- Turns in timely reports to Toastmasters International
- Fifth ranking officer
TREASURER
- Keeps bank account information current
- Collects and submits dues
- Submits new member applications
- Keeps record of financial information
- Sixth ranking officer
SERGEANT AT ARMS
- Schedule meeting location
- Ensure the room is prepared for meetings
- Ensure the meeting starts on time
- Collect and count ballots for awards
- Seventh ranking officer
In addition to the above, all officers have the responsibility to:
- Attend meetings
- Greet members and guests
- Attend District sponsored training
- Assist with the Club Success Plan
