What do they have in common?

NASCAR Challenge - Membership Contest
The member who sponsors the most new members from July 1, 2008 - September 30, 2008 wins Two (2) “Garage Passes” to a NASCAR race Value $1500. There is a minimum requirement of 5 new members to qualify for contest. In the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn from the names of tied winners. Races not included: Daytona 500 and Fall Bristol. Transportation to and from races not included.

Bahamas Vacation Cruise - New Club Contest
The member who does the Chartering work for a new club, i.e. organizes the kick-off meeting, does the paperwork, etc., between July 1, 2008 and September 30, 2008 gets three (3) chances entered drawing to win a Bahamas Cruise. Charter a club between October 1, 2008 and March 30, 2008 and get two (2) chances to win entered in drawing. The prize valued at $800 will be drawn at Spring Conference April 25, 2009Here is the list. The prize includes a 3 or 4 day cruise fare for two for an inside cabin including taxes, fees and fuel surcharges. . Additional information.

Monthly Club Membership Challenge
Clubs with the most new members in a calendar month from October 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009 will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Toastmasters International product store to purchase materials for its members. Also, clubs with new members from October 1, 2008 - March 31, 2008 will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters International store. The drawing will be held at the Spring Conference. Clubs with new members joining from April 1, 2009 - June 30, 2009 will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters International store. The drawing will be held at the Summer Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI).

Monthly Club Educational Challenge
The Club with the most Educational awards in a month will win their choice of “Word of the Day” vocabulary card sets or “Table Topics” card sets or club may choose to receive a $10 gift certificate to the Toastmasters International product store to purchase materials for its members.

From those clubs there will be a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to the TI store based on the following dates:

All of the above winning clubs will go into a drawing for a Champions Baskets to be drawn at the 2009 Summer TLI.

Super Star Award
The member who earns three Education or Leadership awards during the year receives a “Super Star” trophy. Members  can achieve three CCs or any combination of other awards such as CC, CL, ACB, ALS, etc.

Distinguished Program Challenge
The goal must be met by April 4, 2009. Prizes will be awarded at the Spring Conference April 25, 2009

Monthly District Website Contest
Be the first to find the blinking star on a website page, and email that information to the Webmaster and win a $10 gift certificate to the TI store. Winners will be determined by date and time of email received. (DEC members excluded)

Win the Pin
Sponsor a Member, achieve an Educational or Leadership Award  or participate in a Leadership Institute during the 2008-2009 TI year and you will receive the District 58 collectable Pin. (One pin per member)
