IMPORTANT
- INTERNATIONAL PROXIES:
Toastmasters International is in the process of mailing proxies
for the Regional Conference and the International Convention to
all club Presidents at this time.
Presidents,
please sign your proxies and send them to the District Governor
IMMEDIATELY upon receipt.
Please
attend the Regional Conference in June in Atlanta if at all possible.
At the Regional or the International Convention, you can have
the District Governor return your Proxy to you for voting (so
that your trip becomes tax deductible).
Old
Competent Leader (CL) Earns Credit for Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB)
Members that
have earned the old Competent Leader(OCL) may completely bypass
the Advanced Leader Bronze in the new system and begin work on
the Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) award. The requirements for the
Old Competent Leader and the New Advanced Leader Bronze are exactly
the same. Toastmasters International does not issue multiple awards
for the same work. If you complete the old CL before the June
30th deadline, simply begin work on the Advance Leader Silver
(ALS) award. Below are the requirements for your ALS.
ADVANCED
LEADER SILVER (ALS) Requirements:
- Achieved
Advanced Leader Bronze award (or old Competent Leader award)
- Served
a complete term as a District Officer (District Governor,
Lieutenant Governor, Public Relations Officer, Secretary,
Treasurer, Division Governor Area Governor)
- Completed
the High Performance Leadership program
- Served successfully
as a club sponsor, mentor or coach
See the Leadership/Distinguished
Toastmaster Awards application (Catalog no. 1228) for details.
BUT
HURRY!!! Time is running out! You can only earn a Competent Leader
using the old formula until June 30th of this year.
