The recent Professional Development, Training, and Awards Event hosted by the South Carolina Toastmasters – District 58 was a resounding success that left a lasting mark on its attendees. Held on October 21, 2023, at the BCBS GPC Building, Columbia, this remarkable event was an exemplar of commitment, fervor, and meticulous organization.
Special hats off to the event chair, Shikina Zeigler, DTM. Her dedication and efforts in orchestrating such a grand event were evident in every detail. The seamless coordination and energy exuded on the day stood as a testament to her leadership and vision.
The day was further illuminated by the day’s TMOD, Aileen Hill, DTM. With her charismatic flair and adept handling of the event’s flow, Aileen ensured that the momentum never dwindled. Her vibrant presence was felt throughout the hall, keeping everyone engaged and eager for each subsequent session.
A pivotal highlight of the day was the keynote delivered by Brian Woolf, DTM. With every word, he captivated the audience, weaving a tapestry of insights and wisdom that resonated deeply. It was a transformative experience that left many pondering long after his speech concluded.
The morning was filled with illuminating presentations, each offering immense value to the participants. The shared stories, information, and techniques reflected the passion and authenticity of District 58 members.
