PRESIDENT
  • Provide leadership and guidance to help the club meet Toastmaster International standards
  • Inspires and motivates Club (performs as cheerleader)
  • Leads the Club Success Plan
  • Highest ranking officer
IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
  • Last term's President
  • Provides guidance so the current officers have a support resource
VICE PRESIDENT EDUCATION
  • Plans meetings
  • Ensures members meet their education goals and turn in their paperwork on time
  • Second ranking officer
VICE PRESIDENT MEMBERSHIP
  • Promotes membership within and outside the club
  • Follows up on guests and on members not attending meetings
  • Third ranking officer
VICE PRESIDENT PUBLIC RELATIONS
  • Creates and distributes club newsletter
  • Promotes Club within the community and district (newspaper and web information)
  • Fourth ranking officer
SECRETARY
  • Keeps and publishes meeting minutes
  • Turns in timely reports to Toastmasters International
  • Fifth ranking officer
TREASURER
  • Keeps bank account information current
  • Collects and submits dues
  • Submits new member applications
  • Keeps record of financial information
  • Sixth ranking officer
SERGEANT AT ARMS
  • Schedule meeting location
  • Ensure the room is prepared for meetings
  • Ensure the meeting starts on time
  • Collect and count ballots for awards
  • Seventh ranking officer
In addition to the above, all officers have the responsibility to:
  • Attend meetings
  • Greet members and guests
  • Attend District sponsored training
  • Assist with the Club Success Plan
