The Eau Claire Print Building is located next to the City of Columbia Police Department North Precinct Building. Parking is available in front of the building. Come out to support the contestants.
The Area 71 Fall Table Topics Speech Contest is scheduled for 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 22nd in the Auditorium (on the 2nd floor) of Spartanburg Community College Downtown Campus, 220 East Kennedy Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. In addition to the contestants, we will need at least 4 volunteers from each club to serve as contest functionaries (hospitality chair, registration chair, contest SAA, chief judge, 1 judge from each club, timers and counters). Please put this date on your calendars and begin publicizing it in your club meetings and on your club websites and/or social media.
This is a makeup TLI for Division A&B clubs. All club officers who were unable to attend the first TLI should attend in order to get DCP credits.
This event is your opportunity to experience, meet, networking and learning from other Toastmasters around the state of South Carolina. We will have three district speech contests this year. Evaluation, Table Topics and of course, International Speech. Experience the Hall of Fame Luncheon, annual business meeting, keynote and education sessions and Saturday night gala (black-tie optional). Tickets and hotel specials coming soon.
