Hybrid Division E Contest

You are invited to the Hybrid Division E Evaluation and International Speech Contest at the Richland County Public Library Southeast Social Meeting Lab. The date is Sunday, April 16, 2023 3pm-5pm. Address is 7421 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. For parking purposes, minimum capacity is 20 people with a maximum of 30 people.

Coming from Charlotte or Charleston: From I-77, get off on Exit 9A (US378/US76/Garners Ferry Road/Sumter). Travel half a mile on US 378 East. Library is to the right, and you’ll see a white/green/blue sign that says Richland Library Southeast 7421 as soon as you pass BP Gas Station and before you get to Life Storage. You’ll automatically be on the parking lot and see the front of the library.

******KEEP IN MIND: Those coming from Florence or Sumter area: you are not going to be able to turn left from US 378 to the library’s parking lot directly. Where we will be is located on literally a 6 lane highway, making it virtually difficult to turn left to the parking lot directly. Please read below.****** 
Those that are coming from Sumter or Florence: Travel on US 378 west. As soon as you see the BP Gas Station, make a left at the stop light onto Greenlawn Drive. You’ll see a TD Bank to the right. You’ll also see an insurance company and a battery/repair shop all in one building to your right. Turn left directly across the street from the building and make another immediate left. You should see the back of the library containing the book drop and tables and chairs of different colors. Make a right and pull up, and you’re on the parking and will see the front of the library.

You are invited to come out to the Area 51-53 hybrid evaluation and international speech contests on Saturday, March 18, 2023 10am-3pm. Keep in mind the times could possibly push up earlier depending on how many contestants compete in both contests. The meeting room is right beside the library and has a maximum capacity of 25 people. Feel free to watch live or virtually.

Area 61 & 62 Eval & Intl Speech Contest

Our venue of the Library has not been confirmed yet, so please refer back to the calendar to confirm the venue before your attendance. Trolley Talkers Open House

Trolley Talkers will have its annual Open House on December 3rd @ Bethany United Methodist Church (Youth House). Come celebrate our new location and the start of a new beginning for our club. We have 2hrs (5pm to 7pm) with the following: Inspirational Speech, Evaluation, fun game of Table Topics , Awards ceremony and special prize for a participating guest.
